ypxfr: can't get order number for map netmasks.byaddr from ypserv at

Hi, I've a problem with a NIS client. He has lost all information whith the NIS master.
On the master, there is no more slave server configured on it.
When i give comman line :
ypinit -s master , it return the subject answer.
Could anyone help me ?

If your master is HP, then the ethers.byname, ethers.byaddr, bootparams,and netmasks.byaddr they do not exist but are Sun specific.
