anybody there can help me?
is there anyone there who has a simulator for itanium or any linux base??i just need a simulator which i can use with the vista OS. i want to make some excersie with the linux system administration.i want to enhance my skill through using simulato because i believe using simulator i can enhance my skill even w/o a server just like an HPvirtual lab.. thanks in advance

There is no simulator for an Integrity or for HP-UX.
For Linux this is different. There are many "Live-CD" versions. You can boot any PC directly from that CD and use Linux from there.

HP does provide free logins on several different platforms and OS versions through the TestDrive program. These are standard user logins and no destructive system administration privileges are granted. But you'll have access to 5 different HP-UX servers and many Linux systems.

To test a Linux base, you can use knoppix, which is purely run from CD / DVD. Latest version (5.1) can be easily detect SATA HDD, but the earlier version won't boot on the machine, those uses SATA HDD.
