Bandwidth tool in linux
Hi all,
I am using RHEL4 m/c with two ethernet card working as router, natting(firestarter) and also squid proxy server.
1)first i want to use transparent proxy so that i don't implement proxy setting on every client's browser.
2) is there any tool to capture each client's uploading and downloading status on server?
Thanks,
MKS

Re: Bandwidth tool in linux
Use cacti - http://cacti.net/ .
There are many plugins available - check forum how to collect data with iptables scripts and summarize it with cacti.
regards,
ivan
