Anyone Runnng Oracle 11GR2 Or DB2 9.7 on Kernel 2.6.38+ Already?

The latest kernel is supposedly tuned specifically to make DB engines more efficient and faster -- secifically Oracle11GR2 and DB2 9.7.

Aside from the faster Google TCP/IP stack.. it features:

Transparent Huge Pages
Automatic Process Grouping

Featurettes designed to further accelerate DB performance.

And does any one know if RHEL 6 will feature this kernel soon?

Not running it, but Oracle 11gR2 isn't even certified on RHEL6 yet, to my knowledge, so I wouldn't really try it in production yet. Might be a fun test though...
