Battery Life Compaq Presario 2500

I am extremely frustrated with the short battery life on the presario 2500. Can someone pls advise how i can maintain a battery charge of more than 1 hour. The laptop is only 9 months so the baterry should not be faulty?

The battery may be faulty.

Try completely discharge the battery and then fully charge it.

Since it is less than a year old, it should be covered by warranty. 1800-633-3600
