Boot Up Image

When I boot up my machine (I dual booted windows and ubuntu) there's a blue screen with the HP logo, and three choices at the bottom. It says something like, press sec to see boot menu, press f10 for something, and press f11 to repair. Anyways, when I click any of those buttons nothing happens. I have to wait like 2 minutes for the boot menu so I can choose which OS to boot to. Any suggestions?

Re: Boot Up Image

Sounds like a newer model HP.....

It's doing memory checks and other checks in the background. You usually can hit ESC to see what it's doing. I wouldn't disable the memory checking and etc., it's normal for it to take that long.

Thanks,
