I have a wintv card (Haupage??) with an msp34xx chipset. What is the msp34xx for? Is it for sound? If so, how do I control the volume on it? What is the device file name for it? Thanks.

http://will.freehosting.net/bttv-HOWTO-4.html may help. Sound should be able to be output directly from the card, or you can daisy chain it as suggested in the HOWTO.
