can not access ilo, because the ip for the ilo is changed.

within ilo network settings, I changed ip address and ilo subsystem name by accident. Now, I can not access the ilo via web browser. How can I change the ip back, and able to access it via web browser again.

Thanks for the help.

Shalom,

Walk to the machine. Log on the console.

Boot box.

There is a prompt in start up F8 to access iLo.

Hit F8, reconfigure.

All will be well.

An alternative:
Go to www.hp.com/go/support, select "Download software and drivers" and type in your server model. Pick your OS version and download "HP Lights-Out Online Configuration Utility".

Install it on the server. You can use it to extract the iLO configuration into an XML file. Edit the file to correct the IP address, then use the utility to feed the configuration back to the iLO.
