Can't export mounted path

I have modified the /etc/exports , then run the command " exportfs -a " , but it pop up the error "EDP:/dev/st0: Not a directory" ( I have export the path /dev/st0 previously, but I have already deleted this entry in the file /etc/exports and make sure no such entry in the file ) , can suggest why the error exist ? thx

Try 'exportfs -r'.

According to the man page, this re-exports the exported directories, and makes the internal structures that NFSd uses the same as /etc/exports.

(internal structures being /var/lib/nfs/xtab).

u might need to unexport the file system and then re-export it again.

do a exportfs -ua and then an exportfs -a.

also, by any chance can i know what is /dev/st0? if i am correct it is a tape drive?

can we export this?
