trying to using the module Date::Calc in Perl I got:

SolutionThe Date::Calc module (unfortunately) isn't part of the core Perl distribution.
An easy way to verify a module's existence is to do:
# perl -MDate::Calc -e 1
...if nothing returns, then the module *is* installed. A message that begins with "Can't locate" means the module isn't installed.
Your Perl was built with 'gcc' so if you have or want to install 'gcc' you can download and install 'Date::Calc' and its dependencies from CPAN:
http://search.cpan.org/~stbey/Date-Calc-5.4/Calc.pod
Another choice would be to fetch a more recent Perl from Merijn's site. He includes 'Date::Calc' in his builds:
