Can't unmount

I have mount the volumn from host A to host B previously , but now host B is shutdown , then host A can no longer mount the host B . Now , when i run some command such as 'bdf' on host A , then the system will be hang, how to solve the problem ?

Hi

"mount the volume from host A to host B" .... Are you using NFS?

If you use a soft mount this will not happen. Use "man mount" and "man mount_nfs" for details on how to do this.

mount -o soft ...
