Is it possible configuring cluster on Virtual Machines of VMware having installed RedHat (RHEL 5)?
If yes, Do we need to configure fence device, and How to configure fence device?

Re: Can we configure cluster on Virtual Machines of VMware having installed RedHat (RHEL 5)
Hi Senthil,
Red Hat Enterprise Linux requires support for a fencing agent. In RHEL 5.7+ the fence agent to use with VMware is fence_vmware_soap which uses the VMware vCenter SOAP API to perform fencing. In versions of RHEL prior to 5.7, an older agent called fence_vmware was used. This agent is not fully supported and customers should switch to using the fence_vmware_soap agent.
