SolutionA good tool supporting ACL is Star, the ACL enabled version. You can get it here :
http://acl.bestbits.at/
I confirm to you that, as for now, Mondo doesn't support ACL.
I asked Hugo to have a look at it...

Just a to add to the list this is what I have found

I have not tested this it its under GPL and claims it can backup/restore ACL and extended attributs.
If you try/test any of theses tell use how they fare .

I'm in contact with afio maintainer (the tool used by Mondo to backup), trying to get ACL supported on next release. In between, if you like Mondo, there is still the possibility to backup and restore your ACLs :

But of course, it can be quite a heavy job if you have many directories..
If you try one of the tools suggested, and like it, tell us!
