redhat-config-printer-tui -h

doesn't show

--Xadd-lpd

options [at least in my RHEL 3 Beta]

Re: command line configuration of remote printer

means it doesn't recognize this command.
Remove add-lpd or separate it with space

Re: command line configuration of remote printer

do you use lpring or cups. I think if I can enable cups in mine it would be ok. How do I see all graphics of the main menu from my workstation. I keep getting errors and I am not close to the server to change things, except through the serial port.

Re: command line configuration of remote printer

This command is just like the printconf-tui. It is actually a link to the command.

When I used the command with -Xadd- lpd. It stopped at the space i.e it could not see the handler for --Xadd. I would see what I would get enabling the cups from the console.
