R.Hat 9.0 on VMware, on windows XP
/256MB RAM, 96MB for virtual Red Hat 9.0/.
I managed to do almost all, but at the end of installation, when the packages has been installed, the installation stopped with

The CDs are health, such installation is
done successfully on single partition of phisical disk.
Please help! Regards.

Re: Install Red Hat 9.0 on VMware v.4
after you copy the iso image to disk you can mount it with loop option so you/coputer can work with it's contents
let's say you copied the image(you've got 3 images because there are 3 installation disks) under /root
issue this command
mount -o loop /root/isoimage /mnt/cdrom
and then try to continue with the installation from cd...
Hope it helps.
Best regards.

Re: Install Red Hat 9.0 on VMware v.4
Check www.redhat.com for where to download from.
In VMWare select "Edit"->"Virtual Machine Settings..." for the machine you are trying to install in. Select CD-Rom in the hardware list. Under "Connection" on the right side select "Use ISO Image" and click "Browse.." to select the image you downloaded. VMWare will now map this as the content of the CD-Rom inside your virtual machine.
Don't forget to switch back to "Use physical drive" when you are done so that you can access other CD:s from within your virtual machine.
