Linux Bible is a good reference.

I learned from the 7.3 version of that book. Zero to able to probably pass RHCE in two years.

Post specific questions here, reward those tha t answer you and you'll be fine.

Hi

Check the few URL's here which has some kind of documentation for Linux

http://www.redhat.com/docs/
http://www.estart.co.za/linux_doc.html
http://gnu.acnova.com/manual/manual.html
http://www.linuxforum.com/

Anyone of them will be useful.

Re: commands

For a reference book, I go with the Linux Bible. Will have most of the information you seek. Other sources are the numerous HOWTOs available on the net. Search google for HOWTO + Linux and you will probably find many.
This forum is a great place to search for answers or to post questions and have them answered.

If you are without the book, check the HOWTOs and this forum.

Re: commands

Andrew,
Check out The Linux Documentation Project
http://tldp.org
The Linux Documentation Project (LDP) is working on developing good, reliable documentation for the Linux operating system. The overall goal of the LDP is to collaborate in taking care of all of the issues of Linux documentation, ranging from online documentation (man pages, HTML, and so on) to printed manuals covering topics such as installing, using, and running Linux.

I realise it's been mentioned already but the rosetta stone is an excellent quick reference quide. I find it quite useful.
