Configure DAT Drive in DL380 G4 Srorage Server

I am using Linux Enterprise 2. DAT 40/80 external drive has been plugged to the Server. Tell me what next to be done in this ragard and tell me the steps for configuration DAT Drive.

do a "cat /proc/scsi/scsi" and see if the device is found. If it is, you can use it with tar, dd, or your favorite ISV-ware...
