Configure LDAP in LInux 2.4.21-15.EL

Hi all I want to configure ldap on linux 2.4.21-15.EL

and the packages installed for ldap with the installation itself are

mod_authz_ldap-0.22-3
openldap-2.0.27-11
openldap-devel-2.0.27-11
openldap-clients-2.0.27-11
nss_ldap-207-10
php-ldap-4.3.2-11.ent


On net I got that we have to configure /etc/openldap/slapd.conf file

But I am unable to find this even in /etc/openldap

will someone help me and tell me that how to configure ldap in such case .

And one more thing I have to replicate the MS AD to this ldap .

Pls help

You may run into issues with this. There is a GUI tool designed for Fedora that will install into RedHat that might simplify integration.
