Configure PPTP
Hi,
Can anybody provide a link to any clear documentation or walk through steps on configuring PPTP on an HP-UX 11.00 system. I thought I could be do this by installing IPSec/9000 (J4256AA) but after downloading the Installing and Administering IPSec/9000 manual I am still non the wiser.
On my Windows PC I have created this link by adding a VPN connection to the remote PPTP server using my default router then manually typing in the username and password. Once that link is established, I can then telnet the ip address of the server at the remote site.
I now need to do this same under HP-UX as the remote connection is one of our customers, and we automatically transfer files to and from this server via FTP scripts, and they are dropping the current unsecured ISDN / router link.
My own network is 172.n.n.n, the customers PPTP server is 194.n.n.n and the remote HP-UX server is 10.n.n.n. I thought I would need to add a route to the 194.n.n.n address but I don't know how then to direct the 10.n.n.n traffic down that route, and secondly how can I specify the username and password.
