Configure squid using debian OS

Hi,

I've set up squid on Debian OS. when i launch the internet explorer,instead of taking me to google.com it shows 'it works'.

please help.

Configure your IP addresses for http_access.

acl acl1 src your_net
http_access allow acl1

Which version of squid? Enable transparent proxying via IPtables for squid < version 2.

IE is now being taken to the default apache
page.
