Configuring DDS-3 autoloader in RedHat 7.0

Hi All,

I recently acquired a DDS-3 6-cart autoloader at an auction and I wish to use it as the backup server for our linux network (RedHat 7.0).

How does one configure this type of device on a RedHat 7.0 system ?

Is it possible ?

Hello,

I did not do it on RedHat but it should work ok. Try 'mtx' for the tape changer program in combination with 'afbackup'. That works fine in my situation. All documentation is easy to find from these programs...
