Create New Filesystem

I have RH9 running on an LC2000. I need to create a new filesystem. Can anyone point me to some documentation on 'how to create a new linux filesystem'?

Help is appreciated.

look at Filesystems-HOWTO at http://www.tldp.org. It's a good overview.

Usually it's easy to create a filesystem. Ask here... as always.
