Dedicated FC-HBAs to KVM or vMware Virtual Machines?
This is possible already I thought under RHEL 5.5/KVM. Is this as well possible already under vMware?
I need to be able to dedicate FC-HBAs to my Linux Virtual Servers for isolating BusinessCopy CLoneSets of ASM/ASMLib disks to their own server environments.

Much Like we do vPars since the server I am eyeing I don't think offers NPIV facilities to its guest/host OS...

It is called "VMDirectPath" where a physical adapter is mapped to a single VM.
I've written a bit about NPIV in your other thread:

NPIV _could_ indeed be a solution, because it does give a VM a "SAN identity" with dedicated WWPNs. If I understand your problem description, that is what you really need, not necessarily an extra adapter or access to FC switch features.
However, it requires a lot of work, because as of today, NPIV 'rides' on top of an existing RDM connection. Which means that the FC LUNs must be mapped to the physical FC adapter WWPNs, too.
