DL320 G4 Can Get MAC Address

Hi,

We bought 10 HP Proliant servers (5 DL360G4p & 5 DL320G4) all have the same load of RHELv3u8. All are on the same private subnet, in the same VLAN attached directly to a Catalyst 2960 switch. We've loaded the BCM5700 driver on the DL320 NICs. All 5 DL320's can not ping the interface of the default gateway. The gateway is a port on a Cisco2821 router which has 3 subinterfaces (No IP address itself) and has 801q encapsulation. The DL360's can ping the gateway interface without issue. All 10 servers can ping each other. If I move a etherenet cables on the switch, it still is just the DL320's that are having the issue.

Any ideas or settings I can try?

Hi
Well I can think that you need to check the NIC settings so that there is no conflict with those of the swicth.. i mean half vs full duplex, auto neg etc

Cheers
