DL360 G5 fans speed regulation
Hello,
I've installed Debian on my brand new DL360 G5.
Everything goes well, except fans run at full speed all the time.
I have tried Etch and Sarge setup, I've installed hpasm package, but nothing have changed.
I read on this forum that some proliant fan control was software, and some other (new one) was hardware (but for dl380, if I remember well).
How can I know if my problem is just configuration related, or if my Proliant have an hardware problem?
Thx
Cédric

Re: DL360 G5 fans speed regulation
Shalom,
This is suppossed to be temp. based. Its hard for me to tell in a full computer room, but our DL class systems seem to be full out fan as well. Perhaps they need it to stay cool.
