DL380 G4 server ES3.0 update 4 shutdown problem
My linux OS version is ES3.0,when I use "poweroff"command server need press buttom yo turn off.If I install ES4.0,I use poweroff command server will auto turn off.How can I modify setting if I want use "poweroff" command server will turn off with ES3.0 update4 .

Make sure the server firmware is up to date and consider an move to ES 3 update 8 it has less bugs as far as I can tell.

Hi Kevin,
You may have ACPI configuration or behaviour problem.
First, check that ACPI fuctionality is properly enabled in kernel. Perhaps you need to force it in Grub startup file :
... acpi=force ...
