Dual Monitors with TC1100

I'm using my TC1100 docking station and have finally connected a monitor I was using with my old desktop. The problem is that I am unable to have my larger monitor function as the main screen when I am docked.

That option for my current "monitor 2" is shaded and will only let the tiny TC1100 screen acted as the main screen...even when docked.

Is this just the way it is or is there a way for me to switch monitors when docked so my 22" one comes up as the main view??

I've updated my video driver.
