Enabling Raid (HP Embedded Sata RAID) for HP DL 140G3
Hi,
I am trying to install RHEL4U4 64bit after enabling Raid at BIOS. My custom mondo/mindi image works with Raid disabled. but with RAID enabled it fails giving kernel panic. It is because the disk is not being found. Has anyone configured this scenario, if yes, which drivers/modules were used. the HP provided driver do not work.
Please help
Thanks
Abhijit

Re: Enabling Raid (HP Embedded Sata RAID) for HP DL 140G3
It was missing mpt* drivers. after RAID, mptsas and mptfc comes into play. I added them to my mondo/mindi initrd and it works now.
