Fan Speed on ML370 G1 running Linux Fedora Core3

Hi, I know that I need to install the hpasm driver from the Proliant support pack to quieten the fans down on my server but there seems to be no source rpms available and in fact the PSP7.11 says it doesnt support my server. Does the G1 ML370 have an option such as in the RBSU to change fan speed? Anyone have a source package or instructions on installing hpasm on Fedora?
Other than the fan issue Fedora installed as easy as pie on my server. I booted from the Compaq SmartStart 5.5 CD. I have 6 drives, in a raid 5 array connected to a SmartArray 3200 in pci slot 6, Dual P3 733 CPUs, 512MB Ram.

Hoping someone has dealt with the fan speed issue before and can help me.

Matt

Hello

The fan speed can be set in the BIOS.What is the fan speed set as in the BIOS? This can be checked by going in F9/Advanced Options/Default Fan Speed.

Please try setting it to low and see if that helps.
