Getting support for ServiceGuard on Linux

Hi,

We have purchased a 2 nodes license for ServiceGuard on Linux.

I am now trying to install version A11.16 on a server running RHEL 4 AS 4.0 U3 (x86_64).

I don't find any updated Installation Manual. Last release on the Web is A11.14 which refers to a sginstall script that is not included in the CD...

How can I contact HP?

TIA,

Best Regards,

Rui.

Try the attached doc. It was done on SuSE Linux, but it won't be much different.

I'm not even going to get started on SG for Linux documentation - or the state of the software on the CDs we received (syntax errors, crashes etc etc).

Anything you're missing or not sure about, just drop me a line.

Call your local HP Response Centre and log a call is the simple answer
My house is the bank's, my money the wife's, But my opinions belong to me, not HP!

Shalom,

At least on hpux/SG purchasing the license is not enough, you must have a software support contract to get help from the Response Center.

This grants greater access to priviledged documents.

I have opened a call to HP and they have indicated me the necessary doc.

Thanks,
