Has anyone installed Frebsd on HP Proliant 150ML G2?
Hi
I'm trying to install Freebsd on my HP Proliant 150ML G2 without any success?
Obviously there is no driver for SATA Hostraid controller? But I've read somewhere some people managed to install FreeBSd,but on article didn't say how to?
Please help me.
Thanks

Re: Has anyone installed Frebsd on HP Proliant 150ML G2?
please turn to mailto:stable@freebsd.org with Your question.
I'd be glad to dig into it, but I don't have the system. With all 'pseudo-raid'-adapters there's some installation issues. I myself failed in setting the raid up with my $25 highpoint adapter, but I know people managed doing it. As far as I remember the install kernel must be tweaked to load the driver module from the os loader prompt.
OTOH You should document that process very well, as You'll need it whenever You are forced to use a rescue cd. (hopefully never)

yesterday I stood at the edge. Today I'm one step ahead.
