Hotspot Jvm crash on hpux 11.23 IA64 machine
I get a jvm crash when i get a valid repsonse from a webservice. My java code is using axis for the webservice library and works locally on my windows32 machine. The error is in the axis library during a getTextNode call. This is using the hotspot jvm 1.4.2 and i have tried several axis libraries from 1.4 down to 1.2.1

Gary,
Can you upload the machinfo o/p from your itanium system and the version of Java that you use? What is the error at the time of crash?
Also check if you have PHSS_34353 and PHSS_34354 installed on your machine.

Gary,
Can't download the hs_err.log file. The site won't open the attachement. Try uploading it with a .txt extension.
Do you have the PHSS patches I had mentioned in my last response.
This is where you can get the list of required patches for jvm1.4.2.
HTH,
Sanjay
