hotswapable RAID ARRAY

hi,
i've four 300GB HDD in my RHEL server. How do create 2 RAID1 array and both of the RAID1 array will be hotswapable.

Please help.

Shalom,

If you have a raid card, by far the best way to do this is to use the hardware based raid utility, set this up and present it to the RHEL system prior to doing the OS install.

Hi,

"RHEL server" isn't exactly a good description of the hardware that you've got...

Exactly what hardware have you got and what controllers are the hard drives connected to ?

As you've posted on a HP forum we could assume that you're using a ProLiant with a SmartArray controller, and that you'd need to use something like HP's Array Configuration Utility to set things up... but I don't like assuming !
