How to add a third network device file with only two cards.

hello:

First of all I have to say that I don??t want to make ipaliasing(eth0:1,eth1:1..) What I really want to do is to have a third device eth2 with only two cards(eth0 and eth1) , is this possible?

Why don't you find a card with 2 ports NIC ?

The problem here is that these two systems are only for testing and we can??t buy anything for them. We have to do it only with the hardware we have now.

pretty sure you are stuck with aliasing...
