how to configure a new disk on RedHat 4.0
Hello,
I'm not a Linux sysadm, but I must to install a new volume on a RedHat 4.0 from EVA3000.
I have:
1) installed on the server the FCA2214 Qlogic drivers + Path Failover utility.
2) created a VDisk on EVA3000
3) presented the Vdisk to the server
At the reboot the server has discovered and configured two HBAs.
now my problem is how to view and configure the EVA3000 volume on the server.
The server cannot automatically discover new disks.
Anyone may help me about this ?

Re: how to configure a new disk on RedHat 4.0
What do you see when you run the fdisk -l command?
How many internal disks do you have?
What is the size of the virtual disks created and presented?

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
