How to configure RIAD 1+0 on DL 380 G5
I have DL 380 G5 server. It has p400 raid controller. I have configured RAID 1+0 on this and install RHEL4 update 4 on this. Now when i am doing HDD failure testing then i m getting errors sp plz help me to find out that how i can configure proper RAID.
I have 6 HDD. RAID 1+0 is configured in 3+3 mode.
I am performing test with switch off server and then pool out 1 HDD and then reboot server. results are following..
when pooling out either HDD1 or HDD2 or HDD3 system is booting properly.
when pooling out HDD 4 after showing a error boots properly
When poolinf out either 5 or 6 then showing error
"Duplicate or bad block in inode
Thanx in advande for help

¿Before and after your test? Is the system able to boot when you receive the error message or it gets corrupted? At which point do you have those messages?

Boot the system.
There is a console prompt for the smart array controller. The key is probably f8
An interface comes up that lets you change hardware raid.
Have a plan though, if the system is already running you may need to reinstall the OS.
