How to fetch rpm from an ISO image file w/o mounting

Any one has any idea/tool for taking/extracing some rpms from ISO image w/o mounting it on a cd.

I know only one way:

mount -o loop /mnt/iso

To a mount point.

You could also burn the CD on a windows box and copy your rpms across the network.

iso is not like tar, I don't think you can extract files out of it with a single command.

Loop mounting the ISO file is certainly the easier way. But it is possible to find file names and extract files using the "isoinfo" command.

$ isoinfo -f -i hardy.iso
/README.diskdefines;1
/_disk
/autorun.inf;1
...
$ isoinfo -x '/autorun.inf;1' -i hardy.iso > autorun.inf

"cdrtools" package.
