How to find out the WWN in Susi Linux in Pseries machine
HI All,
I am having pseries machine running on susi lunix .I want to know how to find out the wwn number of this machines without seeing the san switch side?I have installed the Emulex card on this machine. cat /proc/scsi/lpfc/2 is not showing the wwn's.lppci showing the card is detected by the OS .I tried with the HBAAnywhere and Lputil from the Emulex site.But it is only available for x86 machines.

Hi,
Suprising that lputil from Emulex is not available on IA64. Have you checked in syslog (/var/log/messages) or boot messages (/var/log/boot.msg) ?

Have you tried accessing the cards BIOS during boot? It maybe that the card has not been detected correctly.
Try running "lshw" or the Hardware-Browser from Windows to see that the card has been configured.
