How to install debian on hp workstation xw4200

Hi,
I'm currently trying to install debian ( sarge net installer daily build 20112004 ) on an hp workstation xw4200 and I encountered some pb...
- with the 2.4.27 kernel, the installer doesn't recognized the RAID SATA of my system.
- with the 2.6.8.1 kernel, installer stopped because it can't recognized ide cd :((
Is ther any solution to instal debian on this machine ?
