HP-UX 11.0 Install
Installing UX 11.0 on D380 sys
from HP-UX 11.0 Install/Update/Recovery CD.
The Ignite process starts then Scans for IO devices then it Queries Disk devices
after the fourth disk displays
it hangs at that point.
No errors Just sets there. The disks were working fine before attempting this cold install.
Thanks

Re: HP-UX 11.0 Install
Hi there.
Are you really sure, that the machine hangs ?
The ioscan ( hardware scan ) may take just a bit of time and the D380 is a reliable but not too fast workhorse.
Is it possible to send some more details about hardware ?
That gives a better idea, what the hardwarescan has to do.

Re: HP-UX 11.0 Install
Try booting from the support plus CD and run ODE(offline diagnostics). This might help you find out if there is any hardware issues.
Hope this helps
