hpasmcli

The command hpasmcli is not working in some of the HP Proliant DL 580 servers.The servers with same configuration is working fine.OS loaded i RHEL 4.
What is the issue with servers

its not installed on the system ??

which version of PSP do you have on your and different server.

This is a sysadmins' forum, not a magical all-knowing oracle. Without exact information about the problem, your guess is probably going to be better than mine.

Please show the exact error message (or any other symptoms) you're getting.

Also, please identify the model generation of your server exactly: the original DL580 was branded Compaq, not HP, so your server is at least a DL580 G2. The latest available generation is G7, and there are quite a bit of differences between various generations.

Knowing the RHEL 4 upgrade level and the hpasmcli version might also be helpful. Please run these commands and show their output:

rpm -q hpasm hp-health
uname -a
cat /etc/redhat-release

Then server got stuck without any messages
