Re: hplog / hpasm messages, what action to take???
And no, the installation is approx. 1 year old. This server has been running fine, but then we started to get the heat problem... That is one thing we fixed that, but now we received this message with the power supply.. No other errors in the past...
So how does it work, as the server is still running???
I am sitting in Copenhagen and the server is in Kiev, so i cant just go look at it ;-)
My problem is to figure out what to do and send a person out to fix it, if it is hardware!!!
My problem is that i dont know what this means is there 2 supply's connected on one cable and then one of them is on its way down, or ???
Does this help, understand my situation ;-) i am trying to get some more details on the server, but currently no persons are on site!
Lookin forward to hear from any of you out there, thx Christian.

Re: hplog / hpasm messages, what action to take???
Each of the redundant power-supplies in this series of servers requires an individual power cable.

Re: hplog / hpasm messages, what action to take???
So what the hell does that error means about the system Power Supplies Not Redundant???
is it because the hpasm thinks per definition that there should be 2 power supplys.. but there is not... and doing boot, it just state this.. so actually it is not a problem??? or what???

Re: hplog / hpasm messages, what action to take???
It was my understanding that if one of the servers that can take two supplies, but run on one, and only ever run on one, wouldn't complain about the 2nd not being present.
But the wording of this error seems to suggest that it had two at some point. Otherwise, why is this error 0193, instead of error 001?
