I need to built Enterprise linux..for single and dual Intel32 platform.

We are currently using Redhat enterprise linux 2.4. The problem is our another core software vendor stop supporting Redhat. so, my task to built our own enterprise linux for intel 32 machines .we dont need any kde and gnome stuff. because all these system going to run remote job submitted in grid engine.

i welcome all sugesstion regard this.. and if u know any other distribution. plz. refer that. it will help me a lot.

Hi,

I guess you need to run a distro that is supported by your application vendor. Ask them about that.

You must ensure what's linux environment supported the core software ?
Such as, kernel,glibc,gcc,etc....
