Idle problem

Hello,
well, my redhat 7.3, after couple of days(maybe hours) od idling s going to sleep so hard, that I can't wake him, is it APM that causing him to sleep, if so, how can I disable it?

1)chkconfig --list apmd

2)To disable apmd:
chkconfig --level 23456 apmd off
So computers don't think yet. At least not chess computers. - Seymour Cray

Hello!

Why to send the same question about 4 times,
the answer is the same

First of all you can disable it in the bios.
Then also stop the deamon of apm by
chkconfig apmd off (will off for the running level)
