SolutionI haven't heard of any plans for HP to port Ignite to Linux. I wish they would.
I have come across a package called MkCDrec, which is designed to do the same thing functionally as Ignite. I have used it to backup and clone some Linux boxes and it seems to work very well.
Here is the link to the MkCDrec home page:

Re: ignite for linux
the HP answer for this question is in this document:
LINSTKBRC00009893 - Is Ignite-UX available for Linux?
Ignite is not available for Linux as it relies heavily on SDUX. Below
are links to several opensource projects (GPL) that provide similar
functionality:
Mondo Rescue-->http://linux.freak.school.nz/mondo/download.html
Backburner-->http://www.linux.org/apps/AppId_269.html
Best regards,
Ettore

Re: ignite for linux
I suggest you use that, as it is the most populair and works best.

Re: ignite for linux
Ignite to Linux is a huge re-write. I keep telling them to do it.
They are having problems with the HP-UX version so lets let them get that right first.

We have been using Altiris RDP without any major issues.
