Install fc3 on NX8220 hangs

Hello there
I hawe just got a NX8220 and i am trying to install FC3, but the install hangs.
I boot from CD1 and the kernel boots up and scans hardware. Then the screen gets all black and nothing more happens.
I have also tryed FC4t2 but the same thing happens.
I hawe also tryed "linux text" but the same thing happens.
Any adiers?

Your machine has an unsupported peice of hardware in it. I was amazed to find out that come pretty standard hardware that was supported on FC1 was not supported on FC3.

Best bet is to report the problem to Red Hat and they may put support for the hardware back.

Check out issues like video cards, and ide raid cards. They can be very troublesome.

I found the solution myself.
On boot use: linux nofb
That is "No Framebuffer" and it works!
