installing less on HP-UX

Hi,

I'm trying to install/build less-381 on HP-UX 11i. Does anyone have any ideas how to set this up. The GNU site doesn't really offer much to do this.

Unless you need that particular version, I would go with the depot from the Porting and Archive Center:

Note that you need gettext, libiconv, termcap in order to run less. You also need gcc and make if you are compiling less from scratch.

I should have added that the 11.0 version offered will work just fine on 11i. You'll have to click on swinstall's "install incompatible" switch, but it will work.

Make sure you install Run-time dependencies: bison flex gcc gettext libiconv m4 termcap
