Intel PRO/1000 F fibre Gigabit server adapter

I have problem with Intel Pro/1000 F Server Adapter ,Card ID A38888-004.I used last linux driver from Intel e1000-4.4.12.
Installation was OK,e1000.o was created,driver was loaded with default parameters by means of insmod e1000.
Configuration interface eth0 by means of ifconfig.
Tested ping was OK.
Then a made first ssh network connection.Working under ssh was OK.After clossing connection,adapter hangs.Ping is bad,too long time response.My config: HP Netserver LH 3000 U3, SuSE Linux 7.3,kernel
2.4.10-64 GB-SMP.I tested other integrated Intel Pro/100 adapter,installation und configuration by means of yast2.Intel Pro/100 worked correctly.
Where is the problem with Pro/1000 F Fiber Gigabit? May I change same default parameters like RxIntDelay ...?
