Internal WI-FI card on a Pavilion xt178

Has anyone gotten the internal WI-FI card that ships with this laptop to work under any unices? I am using RH 8.0 and my pcmcia wireless card works without issue. The WI-FI card doesn't show up or exist... Does anyone know what the specifications on this card are? Called HP tech support and they didn' have a clue. They said the system was too new and haven't seen any documentation on this card or it's specification and sent me to this list.
