Is there a way to dump OS core file?
Gurus,
is there a way to dump OS core file for RH Linux 7.x? I have a RH 7.1 box which hung on occasion, and I want to determine the cause of it the next time it is hung. Is there a way to do a core file analysis on it? Let me know if this is an appropiate path to take on finding out the cuase of this. Otherwise, is there any other simplier way of finding the cause of the hung OS? Thanks in advance.

Re: Is there a way to dump OS core file?
kodjo,
it's nice to know we have a util that analyze os core file, but how do I set the OS to dump core before it crashes or puts itself in a hung state? Is this even possible with Linux? Thanks for your help.
